Applications to Abdominal Surgery

First time in the UK! Many people have abdominal surgeries each year and manual therapy is typically not included in their post-surgery care. This course teaches the language of abdominal surgery and hands-on skills to optimize function in the abdomen and trunk after digestive, pelvic, and bariatric surgeries. Learn to discuss, palpate, and treat the anatomical, physiological, and energetic aftermaths of abdominal surgery.  Observe and practice a complete treatment session including the intake interview, manual interventions, and post-treatment self-care. Grow your skills and attract a whole new category of clients!

Prerequisites:

  • At least 1 Love Your Guts Seminars 2/3-day training completed.  Certified Mayan Abdominal Massage, Chi Nei Tsang, or Structural Integration practitioners are also welcome to attend.
