| Earlier, in the 1970s, whilst completing a
degree in Economics, History & Politics he came across the work of
Buckminster Fuller & was a passionate supporter & student of all
aspects of his work. Roger's book "The Owners Guide to the
Body", published in 1999, is in part homage to Bucky. It was during
the research for that book he first came across Steven Shaw's book
"The Art of Swimming" and traded books & sessions with
him, later completing The Shaw Method Diploma in 2006.
